Correlation between Mother’s Nutritional Knowledge with Nutritional Status (Height for Age and BMI for Age) of Children

Malnutrition problems usually occur in early childhood. It is pretty concerning because childhood a group whose nutritional needs must be considered and are still growing. Lack of maternal knowledge one the causes children. This study analyzed relationship between mothers' children's status (TB/U IMT/U) at Raudlatul Ulum, Ambarawa District, Pringsewu Regency. The research design was cross-sectional, with 31 subjects. subjects were mothers children aged 60 months. type analysis used Fisher's Test. results showed that number stunting (TB/U) seven people (22.6%), which became public health problem (stunting prevalence 20%). poor (IMT/U) person (3.2%). Statistical test there no significant (p0.05) mother's toddler's (TB/A IMT/U). Still, due to difference proportion 20%. In conclusion, nutrition essential providing nutritious food can support status.
